Muni Long and Mariah Carey seem to be joining forces for a new musical project. Jermaine Dupri, along with Bryan-Michael Cox and Jordan XL, co-produced the song “Made For Me (Remix),” which features Carey. Dupri initially shared a snippet of the track on his Instagram, later reposted by Long. Carey appears to have filmed the video in her personal studio. It shows a pink-lit recording booth and her 8x-platinum plaque for The Emancipation of Mimi. Dupri frequently collaborates with Carey. He helped craft several album singles, including the Grammy-winning “We Belong Together.”
Expressing his enthusiasm in the Instagram caption, Dupri highlighted Carey’s captivating vocals heard in the background. After the long buzz, a date has been confirmed: May 21, 2024.
Who is Muni Long?
Muni Long, formerly known as Priscilla Renea Hamilton, is an American singer-songwriter from Florida. Initially signed with Capitol Records, she gained recognition as a songwriter, penning hits for artists like Rihanna and Ariana Grande.
Long and Carey also have a history of collaboration. Long co-wrote “A No No” and “Runway” for Carey’s 2018 album Caution. She also contributed to 2015’s “Infinity.”

Muni Long earned two nominations at the 2024 BET Awards. She was also scheduled to perform at the ceremony.
